Abraham Cruzivillegas, ‘Empty Lot’

I remember seeing this work in the Tate Modern whilst on a Fine Art trip at some point last year, I was immediately impressed by the work, by the huge scale of it especially. I loved the variety of life it created. In the same way I hope to use soils from different places in order to achieve a greater variety of material growing. I also thought the range of soil colour was interesting and told a story about the area that soil had came from.cru

I really like the mystery in choosing random soils as you have no idea what seed/life is held with in.
